I've loved to create for as long as I can remember. Starting with simple DIYs and eventually moving on to other mediums, art has been prevalent in my life for a very long time. I've explored numerous mediums, from painting to sculpture to photography. Though, the medium I have always been most drawn to is film.

 

One of the things that has drawn me to film from a young age is the way it makes me feel. I have always found films that deal with real-life issues gripping. To see characters go through occurrences such as love, loss, hardships, etc., has always tugged on my heartstrings. In my senior year of high school, I opened my senior project with the following statement, "One day, I hope to make a movie that makes people feel something." Sure, I could have put it more eloquently, but that was the best way I knew how to describe what I was trying to get at. I hope to make movies that will make people reflect. I want my films to be like a mirror the viewer is gazing into, something they can relate to, yet something that challenges them to look at themselves more deeply.
